Phipps Reporting, a premier provider of court reporting and turnkey litigation-support solutions, has acquired Tiger Court Reporting, a court reporting firm headquartered in Columbia, Missouri. This acquisition strengthens Phipps’ presence in the Midwest and complements their Wisconsin and satellite offices throughout this region. This is the fifth acquisition in 2021, and the seventeenth acquisition completed by Phipps Reporting.
“Acquiring established and well-respected firms in the Midwest is a strategic part of our ongoing commitment to join forces with like-minded companies nationwide, strengthening our ability to not only compete in the market as a unified team but also continuing to provide our clients with the ability to do business with people they know and trust,” said Christine Phipps, CEO of Phipps Reporting. “We are committed to making reliable, professional stenographic court reporting and litigation support services available throughout the country.”
“After speaking with Christine and learning her history in the world of court reporting, I decided Phipps Reporting would be the perfect fit for us. We have very similar values and beliefs when it comes to court reporting, which makes me extremely comfortable with my decision to sell. Phipps Reporting is able to provide services we never had the manpower to provide, along with fantastic benefits to the court reporters. I am super excited to become a part of the Phipps Reporting team,” said firm co-owner Tracy Taylor.
Added firm co-owner Shelley Bartels, “We were looking for a firm to merge with that puts reporters first. After speaking with Christine, we felt this would be a fantastic merger, benefiting both our reporters and clients.”
