AT PHIPPS REPORTING, USING CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY IS OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLE

With our mobile app-based GPS technology, our process servers can access their assigned job from their phone and enter attempt information while also capturing and recording the latitude and longitude coordinates, keeping clients well informed. The required information for a complete affidavit is entered and saved through the application with our robust process service system. Phipps Reporting is committed to serving our clients by securely keeping all documents associated with the case on our secure server. Court documents, affidavits, and skip trace reports are scanned and saved into our secure client web portal and can be viewed by our clients upon login.

Clients are provided access to easy-to-use Phipps Process Serving Online, a secure website that allows access to files using a unique username/password at any time. Once documents of service or affidavits of diligence are entered, an email is generated and sent to notify the client. In addition to receiving status updates, clients can access and download service affidavits via the secured portal 24/7.

FAQ’S

How do I check the status of a project?

There are many ways to check the status of a file:

What is included in the civil process service affidavit of diligence?

Our affidavit of diligence is a bonus for our clients. We put together an affidavit that compiles detailed notes from the process server, the skip trace report results and standard case information.

Does Phipps Reporting file the proof of service on my behalf if electronic filing is unavailable?

Yes, we will physically file the affidavit at the court for a small courier fee when e-filing is unavailable.

Do I need to file a proof of service and does Phipps automatically send one?
  1. Yes, the court must be notified your party has been served by filing an affidavit of service.
  2. Yes, we will email the affidavit back to the requestor. When filing the affidavit on your behalf, you will receive a confirmed copy by email. If you request that USPS/UPS/courier, send the original, you will be charged a small fee.
When do your process servers attempt service?

Our process servers attempt services at all times of the day and night. Residences are often attempted in the morning and evening. If you think the subject will be home at noon, let the Phipps Team know for the service to be scheduled for an attempt.

Businesses are often attempted between 9 AM and 6 PM unless the business has odd hours.

What are your fees?

Depending on your needs, pricing can vary. Contact us to request a quote. Volume service discounts for law firms, NAPPS members, and private investigative firms are available.

Will you provide the name of the process server for an Application of Special Process Server, Small Claims?

When an Application of Special Process Server is required to be filed before the completion of service, please contact us at ps@phippsreporting.com to request the name of the process server. Please do this before filing the legal documents to save time.

Can a sheriff serve my legal documents in Florida or any other U.S. State?

Yes, a sheriff can serve your legal documents, although we do not recommend this. It can be challenging to have documents served, and most of them are not completed on time, if at all.

I have a question about my invoice, who do I contact?

For questions about your account or inquiries about a specific project, please contact our knowledgeable and courteous staff in our process service department.
